This is the most complete version of the program, designed for students who

want the strongest transformation, the most support, and the fullest progression

into gospel piano playing by ear.

The Fullest Path to Gospel piano confidence

A full 12-week program for students ages 7–18 who want the most complete path from beginner to confident gospel piano player.

The Maestro path is for students who want the strongest possible progression through the program.

Over 12 weeks, students move from the fundamentals into more advanced gospel concepts, including fuller voicings, runs, fills, and substitutions. This gives them more time to build comfort, skill, and confidence at the piano.

This path is designed to help students not only learn gospel piano, but begin playing with a more expressive, polished, and confident sound. This is the best option for students who want the most complete learning experience and the strongest path toward playing in front of others with confidence.

Do students need a piano at home?

A keyboard with at least 61 keys is recommended. Matthew can advise on affordable options before the first lesson.

What ages do you teach?

All programs are designed for students ages 8–18, from complete beginners to those with some experience looking to add gospel to their playing.

Are classes online or in-person?

Both. The Play Gospel By Ear Program runs live on Zoom. Single lessons and Private Mentorship are available online or in-person depending on location.
