Before lessons begin, Aaron meets with the parent and student to understand the student’s current level, goals, and learning needs.

Based on that conversation, Aaron creates a custom path designed specifically for your child’s growth in gospel piano by ear.

Begin weekly private sessions

Students meet with Aaron for one 60-minute session each week. Every lesson is tailored to the student’s pace, strengths, and goals.

A beginner-friendly 8-week program for students ages 6–18 who want to build a strong foundation in gospel piano.

Each student receives one-on-one instruction with Aaron, along with a learning path tailored to their current level, musical goals, and pace of growth. This creates a more flexible and personal experience than a standard program, while giving students the structure they need to progress with confidence.

Do students need a piano at home?

A keyboard with at least 61 keys is recommended. Matthew can advise on affordable options before the first lesson.

What ages do you teach?

All programs are designed for students ages 8–18, from complete beginners to those with some experience looking to add gospel to their playing.

Are classes online or in-person?

Both. The Play Gospel By Ear Program runs live on Zoom. Single lessons and Private Mentorship are available online or in-person depending on location.
